&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'd be interested in a workout partner in Hayward, CA.  I'm certainly not very good at this, but could use some inspiration.

&lt;br/&gt;...I'm trying to work more cardio in, I used to go spinning 2-3 times a week but my new job makes it very difficult, and the gym here in Hayward only offers the class at 6am... :(

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Man, I want something done to my butt. Worshipped, beat, spat on, I don't care, but the two buns want some attention.
&lt;br/&gt;Problem is, I have and ugly butt. Not only do I have the tradtional build of a skinny white boy with no butt at all, but it's hairy and consistently plagued with zits (what is up with that? I gave up zits everywhere else at 18). 
&lt;br/&gt;I shave, but after 2 days it gets all scratchy. I do excercises, but it just seems to work my inner thigh. I want a butt someone will like. &lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Hey. I just started at an awesome new gym, where the leg machines are numerous, free, and all in the same place.... which got me started thinking about circuit training...
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Basically, I'm going from one machine to the next in rounds, being careful to alternate machines working different leg muscles.
&lt;br/&gt;This will build muscle as well as the regular old waiting a minute between sets, won't it?
&lt;br/&gt;And, if I'm doing, say, 4 machines in a circuit, then going upstairs to do another 3 different machines for a second circuit, how many sets should I be doing? 3? 5?  &lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I have recently been diagnosed hiv pos, I've noticed wastage and loss of bulk, my t cell count has plumeted and I've started taking the drugs necessary.
&lt;br/&gt;My question is, once my t cell count rises again will I be able to build more muscle and bulk up a bit. I also used to ride a bike, but my energy levels are shot to pieces, so I'm off that untill they pick up again. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.&lt;/div&gt;

The only problem is you can't save the pics directly from the site.  The only way to get them is to do a "print screen" then paste it into your photo program, then crop the pic.     <title>Losing "love-handles"</title>

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Since I have taken on a desk-job, I have gained 10 lbs. of flab, all around  my middle - the blasted "love-handles".  I am 5'7", 145 now.  I am trying to lose 10 lbs., and more concerned with overall tone than huge muscle building. A Dieting website tells me to eat between 1600-1700 calories a day, and, I can focus on protien, for keeping my current muscle, because I don't want to lose any while losing wieght.  Any tips from anyone on this???&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Hi guys,  I've been actively  hitting the gym for almost a year now.   Never was very motivated on this front until now. Problem I'm finding is that I'm having difficulty 1) adding muscle in certain  areas and 2) losing the extra bit of fat from my stomach.  I realise I need to do cardio and eat well to lose the extra gut, but I think my fat redistribution from my meds is keeping it where I don't want it (stomach) and the harder I push myself the more gaunt my face looks. Before I switched my meds about year and a half ago, I lost most of my body fat and probably muscle mass (what little I had at that point) Truth is other than around my gut I don't have any extra body fat.  Anybody dealing with this problem as well, who can offer some wisdom???   I would so appreciate it.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;I'm thinking about doing multiple sets threw out the day, I now have a home gym,  Example,,,  do 2 to 3 set of something like 8 in the morning the, do another set like two hour later and nether set like at noon. and in the afternoon,, well you get the idea,,  think doing chest one day then legs a different day and back on the next day ,,,   think this will help with muscle building ???

When i use the Cardio settings it suggest that i have a hart rate of 142. When i use the Fat Burn setting it suggest that i have a hart rate of 115. Why is there such a  diffeance in hart rates? Should i use any nutrition supplanments? &lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;Many of my students partake in my classes for fun, as an alternate form of workout, or to compliment their other physical training.  I've also had numerous students who have become professional aerialists.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I've worked with many men--both heterosexual and homosexual.  It doesn't make a difference to me either way, but homosexual men tend to be more open to taking aerial arts generally.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Anyways, not only am I looking for more clientelle, but I also write contracts for Gregangelo &amp;amp; Velocity Circus--a San Francisco based gay-owned company.  I would love to work with some local AZ men, some of who are interested in performing for local corporate events.  To have local skilled male aerialists would be wonderful.     <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;A month ago I joined the neighborhood fitness center to use the treadmill, get specialized weight training for a recent injury, maintain a good weight, and get a speedo tan line.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The main floor has dozens of unique weight training machines. Upstairs are the treadmills, tanning beds and mens lounge. The 12-foot-wide gang shower opens to the lounge without a curtain, just a sloping floor, everything is ceramic tile. A big-screen TV hangs from the center I-beam so the lounge chairs and sofas face the showers. It's like showering in a college sports bar.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;So far I've seen three guys in the showers who shave everything. Yesterday a short stocky weightlifter showered with a full erection and he wasn't shy about it. He kept stroking it every few seconds. They provide big cotton towels but being square, they're too small to wrap around. Most of the guys hang around naked watching sports TV, relaxing in the lounge or back near the sauna lockers. One guy always wears cock rings in the lounge and has his nipples pierced. He's one of the guys who shaves off everything.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The place is maintained pretty well except for the sauna which is totally disgusting, layers of dried sperm all over the walls, everywhere, even the ceiling. The heater appears to be the main target.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Wish me luck on my winter training regimen. When you visit I'll buy a guest pass and tanning minutes for you.&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Alright so after putting on a ton of muscle I'm switching things up and getting cut - and that means dieting and running.  The running is nice - it's beautiful out and even though I let my aerobic fitness go to hell, I don't mind the fact that it's a bit of a struggle getting back.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;But dieting - ugh.  Damn it makes me cranky.  And I go between worrying about getting cut to worrying that I'm going to far and killing off my muscle gains.  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I know at least some of you guys go through this (or are going through it as beach season approaches!).  Cheer me up...!  lol&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Lets face It,we all know that the Gay Community Pushes the "young Buffed" look for Men.
&lt;br/&gt;However..IF you are 45-65 and JUST beginning your Gym Routine,we MUST be "Realistic" with our goals for ourselves. Unless a 50 year old man has "NO" chronic health Issues(back,legs,arthritis,chronic illness ect) he is unlikely to "be able" to work out at the frequency and intensity neccessary to lose those 50 pounds and get a "Six-Pack" Abs and herculean muscled body like his 23 year old younger counterpart. It takes Decades of work,determination,and time,to "be like a Schwartzennager" when you are 50 years old.
&lt;br/&gt;As for myself? at 50 and with a bad back I know I will never have a "Six-Pack-Abs" so I work on what I DO have,wich is a well defined Upper Body and muscular legs.&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Why does it always hurt the worst not the day after you way over do it, but the second day after.   Also why do I get post workout headaches, I thought maybe it was a hydration issue, but I doubt it, I drink just shy of three gallons of water in a 24 hour periods.  Thought maybe it was a potassium issue, that didn't fix it either.  Any thoughts?  I know its gotta be some somthing nutritional.&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Ok..I'm a big music head. I listen to music pretty much all day.
&lt;br/&gt;I carry my iPod with me everywhere. One place I find it
&lt;br/&gt;extremely handy is at the gym. Gold's Gym in the Castro has to
&lt;br/&gt;have the worst of the worst music blaring all day. I simply can't take it!
&lt;br/&gt;That's one reason I have my iPod there. The other is that it really helps
&lt;br/&gt;keep my heart rate up and blast out those last few reps when my arms 
&lt;br/&gt;or whatever are jello. I mostly listen to metal or punk when I work out.
&lt;br/&gt;But there are times when a little rap will do the trick. 
&lt;br/&gt;Here are some of the bands that get me through a workout.

&lt;br/&gt;Well I've found a great way to motivate yourself... find a really hot guy who works out at your guy and start stalking him.  Find out his schedule and time your workouts to be there when he is.  Then try to impress him with how much you end up lifting.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;There is the risk of being heartbroken when you find out the guy is straight.... but trust me, it still works!  I'm at the gym at least 2 times a day to perve on my fiiiiiiine guy.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Anyone else done this?  What's your experience been like?&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I've been going to the gym twice a day for the last couple of months, and I must say, I'm truly amazed at the difference in my workouts.  I have the luxury of beloning to a private key club, so I can come and go at any hour of the day or night, so I go very late at night when there is no one else there.  I do my first workout at around 11:00 pm, and then go back in at around 2:00 am for the second.  The results have been nothing short of remarkable, and I think I know why.  I have so much more energy for the second workout than I would have if I had gone straight into it after the first one.  Let me clarify:
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;On day 1, I do shoulders and back.  Normally I would have gone in once and done both bodyparts in one workout.  Now, I have split them up into two seperate workouts a couple of hours apart, and I have put nearly a half inch on my arms in the two months I've been doing this.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I've also found that I can lift heavier during each workout since I don't fatigue as easily.  You might think that this is just wishful thinking, but the tape measure doesnt lie.  I have gained 4 pounds and lost 2% bodyfat, and added inches where I wanted to.  I'm not sure how long this will continue, but I'm riding this wave until I hit the beach LOL.&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;36 year old Ectomorph (bordering on Mesomorph) seeks Mad Scientist to transform my body.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'm 5'10, 155, and have a 29-30 inch waist.  I've maintained this weight for the last decade, fluctuating only slightly.  I have a high metabolism and yet I rarely have an appetite.  Currently, I eat about 1 meal per day.  I eat because I know I need to, not because I'm hungry.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'm attracted to muscular men, and they seem to be attracted to each other 90% of the time.  So in order to attract the kind of man I want, I have to transform my body as much as possible.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Ideally, I'd like to gain 30 - 35 pounds of muscle, putting me between 185 and 190 lbs.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Dr. Fagenstein's training regimen should include weights, cardio, nutrition, and any other chemical that will aid in my muscle development.  I have a membership to Gold's in Hollywood.

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;can't find any details on this on the Garmin sites or forums, so figured maybe one of you guys might have an idea/experience (after all, ain't most of us really gadget-boys at heart...? ;) ).
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I've got a Garmin Forerunner 301 (GPS SDM/HRM) that I use to keep track of my running workouts - downloading the date from the unit to my PC for review/analysis using the included Training Centre Software (which calculates ave. speeds and sitances, Heart Rates, Calories burned etc). It works great when I'm running outdoors (that is what it's designed for after all...!) but I really want to be able to use it to give me basic usable data for my indoor gym activities (mostly strength training, but also cardio, rower, spinning etc). 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I've tried using it as just a HRM (setting the GPS to the "indoors" setting) - but then it doesn't seem to be able to gather the same HRM/calorie data - anyone have any ideas about how to do this/set it up (maybe as an "other" sport under the Training Assitant...?)

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I'd like a little help getting rid of that tenacious last 5 lbs of abdominal fat. I'm considering experimenting with something like Hydroxicut, Xenedrine, or Zantac 3. I've done a little web research and know that I would definitley want something without ephedrine. But it looks like most of these things have a lot of caffiene. I tend to get jittery and feel nauseous when I drink more than one cup of coffee. Will these things drive me nuts do you think?  Do you just take them for a short while or are they something that you have to use for weeks on end to get results. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I'd appreciate hearing any experiences or info folks have about them, including whether you think they're safe or not. &lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;First,scope it out,if it's a hetero-paradise then discretion will be needed,remember,a lot of those Men there havent had a "Piece" from the wife or gal in a LONG time. Iv'e found that at my local gym,if one gets there early on say,a Monday,around 7:am there will be at least three horny straights,playing with their cocks in the Steam Room. These men are just horny and frustrated after spending the weekend with the bitch and not getting a Piece,all they want is the comfort and cover of the Steam,and to be in the room jackin with other Men doing the same to get off. Iv'e been in our steam room with as many as four men,and we just sit there jackin cock,till we blow our loads on the floor. If a guy is Gay,then there can be some suckin goin on in the steam as well(done that there too).
&lt;br/&gt;Generally,unless you haplessly grab hold of an off duty Cop's cock in a steam room,Most men if they arent interested will just push your hand away,although "Some" at our Gym have gone downstairs and informed management. But as far as actual "arrest's" in health clubs go,I dont think they happen becuase the facility doesnt was it in the local papers.At worse,you get your Membership revoked.
&lt;br/&gt;After a while,you will get to know who the "jackers" are,There's times when Iv'e told a few of e'm "Not here"..but lets go to your place or mine when we leave,and Ive brought the Men home,and also gone to their place.
&lt;br/&gt;Some Gym's are more openly gay than other "family-type" fitness establishments. back in Massachusetts I was in a health club there(Plymouth Athletic Club)where guys grabbed each others cocks and fooled around right IN the locker room,and the clubs steam room was known as "Vallhalla". Here,where I go now  its very "discrete". In the three months Ive been a member there,Iv'e scored 4 times in the steam room,once by the last row of lockers,and gone home with three guys after a workout. 
&lt;br/&gt;8 guys in three months? not too bad an average LOL! When I am at the gym with my personal trainer (Mr Hyde) except for a few "woofs" and comments about a hot guy who might come in, we are ALL BUISINESS. he is there to get me FIT,not be a part of my cruising the joint.
&lt;br/&gt;So guys? ...cruise your gym and enjoy yerselves..just use common sense and discretion and you will be having fun like I do!&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;After months of not drinking an alcohol beverages and hitting the gym 6 days a week... drinking lots of water... keeping up with diet... my wieght would slowly decrease... i was hovering for months around 175.  sometimes dropping to 170. I had two weeks though of engagements and I let the alcohol flow. When those two weeks were over i got on the scale thinking i maybe gained wieght. I was at 160.... so i had lost around 12 pounds in two weeks (mind you i was going to the gym)?? A friend of mine suggested that Since alcohol is a sort of diuretic, that all i really lost was water wieght. Not muscle. Maybe some fat. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Now my question is... does that mean my real wieght is around 160?  It astonishes me that water could add 12 pound to my frame in two weeks i could drop that fast. I'm just looking for general information on alcohol and it's effect on muscle...and water-wieght...and how much does the average human retain?&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;A) I'm at 175 pound which i seem to be stable on for the past 3 months. High protien intake, I gained muscle quick...got thick. I'm pretty happy....though i need to cut... I've got belly fat still and my skin has gotten "thick"...should I lower protien intake now? I decided to just go back to high cardio.... and eating a chicken or two a day. No extra. I eat various nuts, peanut butter and cottage cheese and vegetable and beans. So I reason my protien intake is fine and i should be able to sustain what i got already. My goal now is to cut. bottom line...i wanna show what i've got. and slim down because im not digging the bulldog look and right now it's not transfering well to camera. So i guess my problem is with protien intake. How much is too much. And if i just cut protien and continue to lift lightly and run about 8 miles a day... what type of body would i be building?? I'm sorta clueless and need help. I think I overloaded on protien and now it's gotten me thick...and i want to keep my muscle but slim down.

&lt;br/&gt;Sorry. sort of a rant. If you can help and have more questions about my plan, just ask. But i really need some insight into this particular problem.

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I`m still not close to doing so but I thought that while I had the time on my hands I`d ask,I bumped up my weights a week  or more ago and got through four days at the new level,last Sat morning a fuckwit knocked me off my bike,nothing too bad,severe soft tissue damage to my forearms and elbows,beauty eh,so question,when I can lift again should I stay where I was or go back for a few days to the lighter weights.I could be off for a further ten days.&lt;/div&gt;

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;A week of adding squats into my DAILY routine. . . . I'm fucking floored! Everything i had been trying to achieve through running and other wieght lifting excercises in the past 7 months...completely brought out by just opne week of squats! How come i avoided this excercise? geesh.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I figure as i add wieght I'll start to designate days  for rest, but right now I THINK it's alright to do these daily. I'm not even going hardcore...and quite honestly ...man...I can't keep from lookin at my own ass. ;P

&lt;br/&gt;amazing.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; i'm quite impressed with just short term results. i'm stoked to see long term.
