Over here it's common to combat the muscle wastage with a course of Decca and Sustanon given under the supervision of your Doctor so as not to clash with your other meds. Have a chat to your Dr and convey your concerns about your muscle wastage. In addition, by increasing your testosterone levels will also give you added energy. As James has said, get back on the bike soonest, even if it's for a light ride and also don't give up on your gym programme. Regular exercise and a good nutrition programme will be of total benefit to you in the long run.

yes your energy will rise after your body gets used to all the drug sides.

get back on that bike as fast as you can, more more you take care of yourself now the better you will do in the long run.

dont expect the pills to work overnight, the hiv levels will drop quick but it will take time to gain t-cells. once again just give it your all.

what ever you do dont let it win :-)

I have recently been diagnosed hiv pos, I've noticed wastage and loss of bulk, my t cell count has plumeted and I've started taking the drugs necessary.
My question is, once my t cell count rises again will I be able to build more muscle and bulk up a bit. I also used to ride a bike, but my energy levels are shot to pieces, so I'm off that untill they pick up again. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
